USE& CARE

Proper care and regular maintenance help make your Benchmade knife yours, for life. Here are some tips for keeping your Benchmade in peak condition:

• Prevent Rust:All steels, regardless of grade or price, can eventually rust. To avoid corrosion, always keep your knife clean, dry, and lightly lubricated. If rust or spotting appears, a quality semi-chrome metal polish can usually restore the finish.

• Hand-Wash Only:Always hand-wash your knife with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly.

• Use as Intended:Benchmade knives are precision cutting tools. Do not use your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch—unless specifically designed for those functions.

• Sharpen with Care:If sharpening at home, avoid grinding wheels and high-speed machinery, as they can damage the blade. Use appropriate hand-sharpening methods for best results.

• Tighten Hardware:Over time, handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws may loosen. Use T6 and T10 Torx drivers for adjustments and apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker to maintain secure fittings.

          For those looking for a knife that is easy to hide, it is perfect not to lose it in their pockets, for large and large hands it may be small but the ergonomics of the handle are not bad and sturdy, when the blade is super sharp with micro sacade.

          This knife is lightweight and smaller than I expected. It fits well in my bag or pocket without adding too much weight. I like the axis lock for a tight blade lock and easy unlock. The white color is perfect for finding it in my bag. Good materials.

          For over 4 years I have been buying and carrying pocket knives trying to find “the one”. This just might be it. I can pull it out at work without it being too imposing, S30V holds an edge for a long time and is relatively easy to sharpen. I’ve never had issues deploying it. With minor effort I can flick it with my thumb or middle finger or just pull the axis lock down and flick my wrist. The only issue I have which is relatively minor is the stiffness of breaking in the deep carry pocket clip, when it’s new it has a hard time clipping to the pocket as well as sticking to the pocket when you grab it. This issue stops becoming an issue with time and wear.
